Reception Class 2023
The online admissions system will be available for Reception applications from 15th November 2022 until 15th January 2023 for children born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019. Online applications can be made by logging on to Bradford Council’s website, www.bradford.gov.uk and clicking on ‘Online School Admissions’.
If you have missed the deadline of 15th January 2023 you will be unable to apply online. Please contact the Admissions Team on 01274 439200 for a paper application form if the deadline has now passed or contact Mrs. Spafford on 01274 773977 or by emailing h.spafford@stpeters.bradford.sch.uk
The school's Supplementary Information Form MUST also be submitted by the closing date of 15th January 2023 to St. Mary’s and St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School, Upper Nidd Street, Bradford, BD3 9ND. (Including the child's birth/baptism certificate to complete the application).
Failure to complete the Common Preference Form would mean that the application is not valid and failure to complete the school's Supplementary Information Form could mean that the applicant is placed in the last criteria.
- Closing date for all applications via the website www.bradford.gov.uk/admissions is 15th January 2023
- Parents/Guardians will be advised of the outcome of their applications on 19th April 2023.
- Acceptance forms must be completed and returned to school before 3rd May 2023.
- Closing Date for Return of Appeals Forms must be submitted by 23rd May 2023.
In Year Transfers
Parents or carers living within the Bradford District who would like their child to move to a different school should first contact their child’s current school to discuss the reasons for the transfer.
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan or Statement of Special Educational Needs please do not complete an application form. Please contact the SEN Team on 01274 435750 for advice.
In year applicants will also need to complete an application form. If school is not able to offer a place you will be informed in writing of this decision and have the right of appeal. You will also be placed on the waiting list.
